Money transmitter licenses

Remiglobe Holdings, Inc. holds state-by-state money transmitter licenses in the United States where required. License numbers and the relevant state regulators are listed below.

Payment infrastructure

Remiglobe uses licensed payment infrastructure providers for wallets, cards, FX, payouts, and KYC. Our providers are regulated as e-money institutions in the UK (FCA) and as Major Payment Institutions in the EU.

Banking partners

Sender funds are held at FDIC-insured partner banks in the United States. Recipient funds are held in regulated wallets, which are safeguarded at tier-1 banking partners under applicable e-money regulations.

Card issuer

Virtual cards issued to Remiglobe users are issued by our card issuer partner under a license from Visa Inc. and Mastercard International Incorporated.

Sanctions & AML

Remiglobe complies with OFAC, FinCEN, FATF, and equivalent regimes in the UK, EU, and Nigeria. We screen every transfer against global sanctions lists and report suspicious activity to FinCEN as required.

Data protection

Remiglobe is GDPR-compliant and certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have appointed EU and UK data protection representatives.
