1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Remiglobe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction, and complete our KYC verification to send or receive money through Remiglobe. We may decline service to any person or entity at our discretion.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. KYC and screening
You authorize us to verify your identity through our KYC providers, to screen you against sanctions lists (ComplyAdvantage, Sanctions.io), and to share information with these providers as required by law.
5. Fees
Remiglobe charges a transparent FX margin (currently 0.85% for personal accounts) and a flat $1.99 send fee. Fees are displayed before you confirm a transfer. The rate you see is the rate you get.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Remiglobe for: money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, illegal goods or services, or any activity that violates applicable law. We may freeze funds and report to authorities if we suspect prohibited use.
7. Transfer limits
We apply per-transaction and aggregate limits based on your KYC tier. Default BASIC limits are $5,000 per transaction and $25,000 per day. ENHANCED KYC unlocks higher limits.
8. Reversals and refunds
If a transfer fails after funds are captured, we reverse the card authorization and write counter-entries to the ledger. Reversals typically complete within minutes. Some recipient-side fees may be non-recoverable.
9. Disclaimers
Remiglobe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all transfers will succeed. We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remiglobe's total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Remiglobe against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Services.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or risk-management reasons. You may close your account at any time through Settings.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
