1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how Remiglobe Holdings, Inc. ("Remiglobe", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, mobile applications, and payment services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to senders, recipients, and visitors of our Services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, government ID for KYC), information collected automatically (device, IP, browser, page interactions), and information from third parties (sanctions screening providers, identity verification, payment networks). Card data is collected and stored exclusively by our PCI-compliant payment processor — it never reaches Remiglobe servers.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Services, verify your identity (KYC), screen transactions for sanctions and fraud compliance, process payments and FX conversions, send you service notifications, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (when you initiate a transfer), legal obligation (KYC, sanctions, tax reporting), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, product improvement), and consent (marketing communications, optional features).

5. Sharing your information

We share information with: payment infrastructure providers, compliance and identity verification providers, banking partners, and law enforcement when legally required. We do not share your information with marketers.

6. International transfers

Remiglobe operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Nigeria, and other countries where our providers operate. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@remiglobe.app to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256-GCM), HMAC-signed webhooks, immutable audit logs, and an independent SOC 2 Type II audit. See our Security page for the full picture.

9. Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for 7 years after closure to comply with financial regulations. KYC documents are retained for 5 years. Audit logs are retained for 3 years.

10. Children

Remiglobe is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, contact privacy@remiglobe.app.

11. Changes to this policy
